Meenakshi was raised in multiple cities across India and began her career in research and evaluation in Mumbai, India.
She moved to Wellington with her family in 1998 and has continued to apply her skills and experience across a wide range of sectors for multilateral organisations, NZ Government agencies and the private sector. Meenakshi currently operates as a sole trader working for her company Buddhi Consultancy Limited established in 2013.
Over the years, Meenakshi has designed, led and implemented multi-year, multi-country programme evaluations of mature and pilot programmes; undertaken evaluation synthesis to bring together lessons from existing evaluation evidence; developing, monitoring and evaluation frameworks and evaluation plans for a range of complex policy interventions and developed rubrics/criteria for ensuring robust evaluative judgments of effectiveness.
Meenakshi is deeply interested in evaluation methodologies and enjoys wrestling with complexity.
When not living and breathing evaluation, Meenakshi can be spotted walking around the Remutaka Forest Park catching stoats or planning fundraising events for a charity she supports in South India, Karunai-Illam Trust.
